Now hiring: we are hiring a mason's helper in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. You will cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel. What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
