Glazing assistant — Hampshire County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. Your main tasks: • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass You should have: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
