Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift technician in DeKalb County, Indiana. The job is at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Day to day you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; run load and overload tests with test weights.
