Gas installation technician • Hamlin County, South Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Hamlin County, South Dakota. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. The role involves: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
