Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Caldwell County, North Carolina. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Day to day you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking.
