Vacancy available: bench joiner (Alabama)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bench joiner in Russell County, Alabama. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish The role involves: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
