Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Day-to-day duties: • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift 3+ years on the tools preferred.
