Ideal candidate: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Day-to-day duties: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Rotating shifts.
