Cold room technician • San Jacinto County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring a cold room technician in San Jacinto County, Texas. You will work at a busy refrigeration workshop. On a typical shift you will fault-find control boards and defrost timers; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch. What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Six days a week, one day off.
