Pastry baker wanted in Essex

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pastry baker in Essex, England. You will be based in a bread factory. What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate The role involves: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around £3,150 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
