Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Emery County, Utah. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day-to-day duties: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
