Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Douglas County, Wisconsin. You will work at a sheet metal roofing workshop. You will replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs. What we are looking for: • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
