Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in Logan County, North Dakota. You should have: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Own basic hand tools On the job you will handle: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
