Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Lunenburg County, Virginia. The role involves keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
