Overlocker operator wanted in Lamoille County

Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Lamoille County, Vermont. The job is on an export house sewing floor. On the job you will handle: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
