Great opportunity: offshore rigger (Florida)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Liberty County, Florida. You will work on a high-rise building site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day to day you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends.
