Great opportunity: port container crane operator (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Medina County, Texas. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
