Now hiring: refrigeration technician (Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in City of Danville, Virginia. On a typical shift you will pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges. You should have: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $15 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
