Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Meade County, South Dakota. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
