Construction helper — Skagway Municipality

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a construction helper in Skagway Municipality, Alaska. You will be based on a metro and infrastructure project. The role involves stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations. Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
