Garment machinist — Towner County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Towner County, North Dakota. You will work at a busy garment factory. You will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
