Pipe tig welder • Gwaram, Jigawa State

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Gwaram, Jigawa State. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height 2+ years on the tools preferred.
