On the job you will handle: • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
