Natural gas fitter wanted in Decatur County

Join our team: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Decatur County, Tennessee. You will be based in a gas distribution network. You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings Day to day you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
