Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in North Lincolnshire, England. The role involves fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter. Requirements: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop 6+ years on the tools preferred.
