Now hiring: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Bandera County, Texas. You should have: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules On the job you will handle: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
