Refrigeration field service technician — Buckinghamshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Buckinghamshire, England. The job is in an HVAC service company. What we are looking for: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Your main tasks: • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges 4+ years on the tools preferred.
