Food packing operative wanted in Alexander County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a food packing operative in Alexander County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights • Able to follow health and safety procedures • Basic numeracy for counting and recording quantities Your main tasks: • Seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue • Check best-before and expiry dates on every box • Count units and confirm the correct quantity per carton • Wipe down and sanitise the line following hygiene rules • Weigh and portion products before bagging • Feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams 5+ years on the tools preferred. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
