GTAW welder — Somerset County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience.
