Landscape gardener • Schoharie County, New York

Immediate opening: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Schoharie County, New York. What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Your main tasks: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
