Concrete shuttering carpenter • Cerro Gordo County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork The role involves: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
