Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Wayne County, Indiana. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Your main tasks: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
