Now hiring: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Swain County, North Carolina. You should have: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Day-to-day duties: • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
