Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Brown County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
