Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. You will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends.
