Requirements: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills Day-to-day duties: • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors Rotating shifts.
