Occupational health and safety officer — Ezinihitte

We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Ezinihitte, Imo State. On a typical shift you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions 6+ years on the tools preferred.
