Steel fixer • Schley County, Georgia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Schley County, Georgia. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
