Quality checker — City of Danville

Join our team: we are hiring a quality checker in City of Danville, Virginia. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data You should have: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
