Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Chase County, Nebraska. Day to day you will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
