Precision welder wanted in Nottoway County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Nottoway County, Virginia. The job is on an industrial construction site. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator.
