Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Jones County, South Dakota. The job is at a plant hire yard. Your main tasks: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
