Nursery worker — Anne Arundel County

Now hiring: we are hiring a nursery worker in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. You will be based on the grounds of a hotel resort. On the job you will handle: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Requirements: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance We offer $23 per hour plus benefits.
