Baker — City of Lexington

We are recruiting: we are hiring a baker in City of Lexington, Virginia. The job is in a bread factory. Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls You should have: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
