Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Rains County, Texas. You should have: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges The role involves: • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
