Now hiring: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Wood County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a cold storage facility. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding Day to day you will install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
