Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot The role involves run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS).
