Halal butcher wanted in San Jacinto County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a halal butcher in San Jacinto County, Texas. Day to day you will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Six days a week, one day off.
