You should have: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns The role involves wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying.
