TIG welder wanted in Dickinson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Dickinson County, Iowa. The role involves: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
